Journey At Dawn

It was darker than usual when I got up this morning. I managed to steal a cuddle from the little one as she stirred awake before I left and found myself in that fantasy world in my head where I get a phone call from work saying they are closed so I can go back and spend the day with the family.

There was no phone call. Only this view - which to be fair was rather pleasant and work was actually quite nice in the end too.
