Okay Stirlin' oot the car

A day out in Stirling for me today which was lovely. I have never properly visited it before although I have been here rowing - and even the boathouse is like a little castle!

I spent most of my time in the castle which has had a lot of restoration done. The Great Hall is a sight to behold and there are huge tapestries which have been painstakingly recreated over many years. The was even a Jester frolicking about in the Queen's Chambers (ooh er) and playing a lute. Fascinating place.
