I get nervous about no over-engineering things, but when doing this properly would require removing the polythene-covered lean-to beside the shed in order to get the new layer of felt tucked properly down beside it it would have taken the repair beyond the quick hour alotted. The lean-to also requires almost entirely re-covering (especially since either the wind or some neds took out a few more bits of it over the winter festive period) so the extra bit of roof can be tucked under then, whenever it ends up being.
