Firework mayhem

I'm staying with my sister (jamjaragain) for a few days, and this evening we went down to their local village to watch a festival involving demons, devils and fireworks. You'd never be allowed to do this in the UK - the participants all had fireworks on long poles which they lit and then danced around the square as they went off, accompanied by drummers. Sparks flying everywhere! Completely bonkers, but great fun to watch, although very very noisy at times. We had to retreat home in the end for a few glasses of wine!
