Christmas is Over

It's the chainsaw massacre today as the Isle of Bute Christmas tree was well and truly pruned and chopped down.

My working electrical trip to Rothesay at this time of year always starts with the removal of the external public display Christmas lights and tree at the Isle of Bute Discovery Centre.

I am always proud of what we achieve and put on display in Rothesay at Christmas time but the reality of the new year and confirmation that the festivities are over certainly hit home when you chop the branches off and eventually cut down the Christmas tree.

Still....it will soon be late November and the struggle to erect the 18 foot tree will begin once again.
