Big Birthday Balloon

The family gave me a balloon flight for a BIG birthday. It took several attempts before the weather was kind. This day was ideal as the wind carried us a long way from Bakewell. We had a fantastic ariel view down to Chatsworth, then around Chesterfield and eventually came to ground several miles east of the M1. We travelled 26 miles at almost maximum balloon speed. Great day rounded off with a glass of champagne, in the dark on a recration ground!
