Land, air and sea

Spent today in Milton Keynes attending a Mercedes-Benz driving day. I know, tough job but it's what I do, drive cars and write about them. Drove through a deluge on the M1 to emerge into the city of endless roundabouts and find it basking in sunshine under a clear blue sky.

This three-pointed star - Gottlieb Daimler's famous design representing land, air and sea - was atop the bonnet of a new S-Class. It is one of the most expensive cars I'll drive this year at £130,000, including a lavish list of equipment. Dashboard wifi anyone?
