autumn

crunchy leaves are one of the only good things about autumn.

i gave away my winter boots to mum today. in 3 months i'll be in africa and definitely won't be needing any winter boots.

delightful weekend. our hideous town, which usually only deals in pound shops, has just opened two extremely good bookshops. one serves coffee and has an extremely good selection of books (doobs and i spent about 3 hours there yesterday). the other has gallery space and hundreds of second hand books. flippin great. both are owned by friends of ours so i don't even have to feel bad about spending money there.

another friend has just invested in a crepe van so we had one of those in between bookshop visits.
