Death of christmas

Christmas decorations are all away, the house is back to normal and feels a little bare. Outside it has been a grey, cheerless kind of day but inside, we are celebrating the brightness and tacky cheer of christmas red candles in a gold, glittery candle holder as we watch the candles guttering into extinction to wait for another year.
