Triple First

First crocus of the year.
First time I have blipped this one.

The mild weather has brought a number of spring bulbs into flower ahead of time. The low light levels at this time of year mean we don not get to see them at their best. The stems elongate as the flowers (crocus, narcissus, colchicum, iris, snowdrop) search for the light, this in turn makes them vulnerable to the wind and rain. I will do my best to to show them in a good light here.
