Every Child Leaving Care Matters

A few weeks ago much celebration was had because young people in foster care were offered, where appropriate, the opportunity to be supported until 21 years old by legislation. This was fantastic news except slowly, the penny dropped...what about young people in residential care?

A group of us got to together and started a campaign which day by day has gathered more and more momentum. Yesterday Scotland announced that they would be extending the support to all young people regardless of whether they are living in foster care or residential care. We are demanding that England does the same.
