A dragon's hot time on the tiles...

50% of the population of Penang is ethnically chinese and has been established here for several centuries, having first arrived as traders and merchants and later to work in the opium and tin trade.
They have a number of temples and old restored houses in the UNESCO protected old town. Here you have a view of part of the extremely ornate roof of one such temple known now rather prosaically as the King Street temple.
