Warming the cockles

What are heart cockles exactly??

Anyway, mine were warmed today when my friend (the ladder faller) was released from hospital. Thank goodness she's going to be ok. Another friend with suspected heart trouble got the all clear. The third heart warmer of the day was an unexpectedly mild evening and an outdoor Bloody Mary.

I'm so exhausted because of the worry of the last few days that I'm off for an early night. Zzzzz
