Planning ahead pays off

So today I'm thankful for a fresh box of Kleenex and the work I did last month. At the start of December as I was preparing to start my new call I went ahead (because I had a little space and time) and worked on all of January's bulletins and sermons. So yesterday afternoon when I got knocked out by this cold or whatever I knew I could take the space I needed to rest and get over it. I can't do visits if I'm sick. So having the space to rest and feel better was a gift I gave myself knowing I'd already done a good slice of the work I'd planned for today's agenda. Next Monday I'll start working of February.
