Silhouette

Continuing the current preoccupation with the island's electrical system - a utility pole, and some trees on the hill behind it, are silhouetted upon the back of the building where I work. I found the juxtaposition oddly poetic and tried to emphasize the feeling with this treatment.

I am not certain, but I believe the shadow of this particular pole is only cast upon the building during the winter months when the sun barely drags itself above the horizon. Certainly I had never noticed it before - or perhaps I don't get to work early enough most days.
