Stormy Monday Reprise
A little respite from the monochrome of the last few days although the weather started out much the same with the winds and rain but almost like a hand brushing it away the afternoon cleared but as usual it was only temporary and by early evening heavy rain and winds had returned.
The beautiful river bank is secluded and very sheltered which has resulted in this carpet of copper coloured leaves lying almost undisturbed and presenting too good an opportunity not to shoot. The river in the background was driving on at a fair pace, the noise of the weir rolling like a a peel f thunder omnipresent as I wandered. I never saw a soul, I had the riverbank to myself and I wandered quietly enjoying the sound of the birds against the river.
I am sorry for the later entry again today however I crashed when I came home, out like a light, but like so often I have paid the price and now in the wee small hours I find myself awake, and know I am destined to watch the storm outside until the coming of the dawn. It is the sort of night I wish I could chat to my friend all night but I hope that they are sound asleep and rested for the day ahead. I hope you enjoy the shot today, a little excursion into the land of colour!!!
