I love this photo of Dad and Taid, taken either by my mum or my Nana at the cottage where my Dad grew up on Hope Mountain in Caergwrle, a few years before I was born. I'd love to be able to do a 'Dear Photograph' with this but unfortunately the cottage has since been extendedlymodernificated beyond all recognition, which is probably a good thing in a way because nothing is ever the same once families and loved ones move on.

I'm happy remembering the good times up there when I was a little boy. I can still smell the grass and the oil on Taid's lawnmower :)
