Room With A View

Last night we still had snow on the ground and freezing rain falling. This morning we got up to grass and, by some fluke, temperatures in the 40's. We made the most of it and dashed out and brought in all our exterior Christmas lights and dcorations. We spent the rest of the day packing away the remains of Christmas and trying to return the house to it's pre-festive state. With the 9 foot barely alive tree gone, I can now enjoy my favourite view again. Did I mention that the Polar Vortex is bearing down on us? Tonight it is meant to get down to 3f, and by morning when the wind whips up and I have to leave for work, the windchill is meant to make it feel like -17f. BRRRR!!!
