Gloomy walk

It was what it says on the tin.

My 93 year old Grandad is up here from Cumbria staying with my brother and sis-in-law.
He has come up to visit Mum (his daughter). What an amazing guy. I don't see him very often but whenever I do I wished I saw him more.

Telling us all stories of his younger life when he was in the forces and being brought up with wierd characters and his relatives who I haven't heard of. Fascinating. He ate loads more than me at dinner, chatted for hours and was still wide awake when I was ready to go home.

I wish I was as energetic as him at even half his age (oh wait - I nearly am!)
