Attempting Star Trails...

First attempt at improving my photos of star trails, not the best. Just shows how much light pollution there is in the UK. I was nowhere near any street lights…though I was under the flight path for East Midlands Airport!

Anyway, the main cluster of stars that you can see are Orion's Belt, the North Star was covered by cloud when I started. By the time I stopped the clouds were closing in again. I think I was lucky to get about 40 minutes of cloud free evening! The wind nearly tipped the camera over on it's tripod a couple of times when I first started!
