Not always but today I knocked off promptly because I’d worked hard and, frankly, I’d had enough for one day.

In other news, more wind and rain. In fact the rain was so torrential around 8am this morning that when I saw the boys set off for school, one in a short coat and one with a broken umbrella, my maternal instincts kicked in and I called them back in so I could give them a lift half the way there. They seemed quite grateful. I then got soaked myself taking the dogs for a short walk round the block with an inside-out golf umbrella. I’d like some nice frosty weather now, please.
