Running wild

Who knows why this wee girl was running loose, spooked by fireworks perhaps, but she was clearly not happy and stick thin for a Basset.

I watched her for a while in case she did know where she was going but it was clear she didn't. She gave me such a good cuddle as I picked her up to put her in the car and gobbled the doggy treats She was given.

She seemed relieved to be with the other lost souls at the local vet who will make sure she is well. Hopefully they will find her family or at least find her a new one.
