Our New Addition ...

Today was the day we finally had our log burner installed. It's something we've talked about doing for years. The log burner arrived a couple of months ago and has been sitting patiently in it's box in our garage.

When I saw the weather this morning I didn't hold much hope of anyone turning up, it was blowing a gale and there were heavy, wintry showers every few minutes. But turn up they did, three young men who were not going to let anything get in their way. After making teas and coffees and a short chat, I went upstairs to get out of their way and just let them get on with it.

By mid afternoon all was done, the fire was lit and it's burning away nicely - the room is very cozy :-)
