One a day for the rest of the Year!!

Headed over to North Queensferry for the day and I must admit it was a bit on the dreary side with heavy squally showers to contend with and by the end of the day I was a bit cold and wet.....

However as the day progressed, the sun tried its hardest to appear and there was even a hint of blue sky.......and about time too!

This is a shot from underneath the rail bridge from the North of the river - it was a bit on the windy side - never had the tripod so its not as sharp as I would like but overall I love the colours that the image has produced....

and that aside a little competition has sprung up - my good friend Heliflyer who's journal's name is Viator Fabula and who I have often spent many an hour out with the camera shooting landscapes and has been very encouraging to myself regarding my photography, has so far this year (very early doors I know!!) posted a picture every day and the challenge has gone down to shoot one everyday for the rest of 2014!!

So let's see how we do - there might be a couple of back blips due to the lack of "tinterweb" access........but the challenge has been set and the dual is on.....
