Merry (Orthodox) Christmas

I had to change today's entry having submitted it earlier this evening. However, I wanted to capture the occasion of Orthodox Christmas Eve. This shot shows television crews waiting for midnight and the service to start at the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour (Храм Христа Спасителя) in Moscow. It's a snap shot taken with my Nokia Lumia 820 but does at least record the moment. The top of the dome is inadvertently cut off. However, at 103 meters this is the tallest Orthodox Christian Church in the world.
