Last Day of the Holidays

The weather was terrible again today but we had to get out, especially since we had promised swimming but hadn't made good on it yet. We decided to go to the Peak but when we arrived it was mobbed, so we went to Waitrose first and had a snack in the cafe then did a bit of shopping. Orla had a cupcake and Conor shared a scone with me and his dad.

The pool was quieter when we returned; Conor and I didn't go in because he is still wheezy. He had fun playing in a little children's play area they have but more fun walking around all the chairs. Orla did well with her swimming. I watched her use the noodle to lie on her back and put her head in the water.

They are both still going to sleep later than usual, but hopefully they'll be suitably tired out tomorrow for us to get back into the normal routine.
