j made his second ever gingerbread house this Christmas. As is the case most of the time, he ate more candy during construction than he put on the house. Of course, this led to a massive stomachache.

It didn't stop him from sneaking pieces of candy off the finished house, as you can see in the second picture. However, over the next week, this also led to a massive stomachache.

The only thing he was more excited about than the candy was the promise of destroying the house after Christmas was over. Today we handed him a hammer and stepped back. After he was done, there was nothing left but gingerbread crumbs, shards of icing, and rock-hard marshmallows and indestructible gummy candies. He didn't try to eat anything today.
