Life of a flower pod

I got lots of shots today, even a snake, actually 3 snakes! Gives me the willies just thinking about it again! It was just black racer snakes, but they were being aggressive, so I didn't want to get any closer than I did! I kept coming back to the colors of this pic. I love the color of the sky & the soft lavender of the pods. They are like miniature balloons, full of little puffs of air when you touch them.

Today was sunny, 77 & beautiful. We have a hard freeze warning for the next 2 nights, then back to normal, normal for Florida that is.

Today I am thankful for all the thoughtful blip comments yesterday. It truly restores my faith in humanity. Be excellent to each other. I love that about Blip.
