A Time for ...
Since it was the first Sunday of the year, we quite appropriately thought a bit about what the year might hold at church today. Our minister used the part of the book of Ecclesiastes chapter 3 where it talks about there being a time for everything. We had the chance to ponder what 'time' it was for us and take an appropriate card, or write our own, and then later place it on a 'time table' with a candle as an act of commitment.
This is a view of the candles and their reflection in a clock afterwards.
While it is true that none of us knows what the future holds, it was good to stop and think what sort of time it might be, even though we may not know the details.
If you want to read the passage of scripture you can read it here.
