#100happydays - Day 1

I'm starting a new photo challenge: 100 happy days. I already do a pic a day so I guess it's not that much different but will just be coming from a different perspective and I will TRY to challenge myself to not JUST take kid pics, even though they do make me happy.

Anyway, 2 happy moments today:

-We found Monkey a used scuttlebug today and went riding around the block with the two littlies and the bikes. He hasn't been able to ride his bike yet as he's still a bit too small and he's always left out when it's bike riding time so I thought he would like this. He did like it and immediately took ownership, not letting Chickpea go near it. He still needs practice riding, though, and preferred to pull it around by the handle, then abandoned it completely in favour of puddle jumping.

-The kids watched their first panto (Cinderella) with some of their friends (and us). They loved it (though Chickpea was a bit scared of the wicked stepsisters). Monkey was dancing in his chair and has a new favourite song (What the Fox Say). He was singing it all the way home!

Chickpea quote of the day--
-- backstory- Chickpea has been asking about her body and wanted to see what hand bones looked like today. So we looked it up. Then she wanted to look at the "chin bone." So we looked up the skull. I googled the brain next explaining that that's why the skull is so hard as it's protecting a very important part of the body. She shouted, "It looks like worms that's dead and stuck together!"
