Last hurrah for the decorations...

It seemed such a pity that the church wouldn't be looking like this again for another year, as we celebrated the first of two services for Epiphany (the second is tomorrow, on the actual feast day). I loved it at the Midnight Mass, with the darkness and the rain (inside and out), but this morning the pale daylight showed all the greenery off, and the angels on the organ case had new tea lights specially.

We are blessed by having imaginative and creative people in our church - from the technical wizard that is our Rector to the people who think of angels with candles in the first place, they do a great job. Here's to the next liturgical drama ...
