Fire.

I spent a happy day with both sons and all 5 of my grand children.

Yesterday we had a similar day with my husband's family.

I confess that as much as I am fond of my inlaws, there is nothing to match the light in the eyes and hugs from my very own family.


Lorenzo, 9yrs, was kitted out in his "Roma" track suit, in honour of the game this evening. He made a point of telling me that even his underpants were "Roma".

It turned out to be a rotten game, Roma lost and were are all feeling slightly ratty. The weather is rotten too but at least the wood fire is warm and cozy.
