Frosty Sunrise Walk

It was a beautiful crisp and frosty morning for a sunrise walk! I wish I'd gone out about 20 minutes before I did, as I think I missed some of the pinkest hues. Still, it did not disappoint. This was the kind of sunrise I was hoping for on New Year's day, but it matters not what day it is. I'm not generally a morning person, but when I push myself to walk early in the morning, I'm always glad that I did. I love the quiet and peace. A colourful sky just makes it more thrilling.

I also enjoyed seeing ice patterns on the frozen puddles, and the snow-like frost on the plants.
