High tide walk

A slightly longer dog walk today, with Daisy kept on the lead. Got to build up her fitness and not let her over-exert herself.

We went down to the Clyde shore just as the sun was setting, and the predicted storm was arriving. It made for a dark and foreboding sky. The tide was so high it has engulfed the path, and we had to paddle through higher ground to get past.

We dropped in to see my mum and dad, and wish them happy new year.

Have spent the rest of the evening cooking (tasty roast chicken), preparing for another working week, and starting to put together my fish tank again. (All my cold-water fish eventually succumbed to a fungal infection - I have decided to start a tropical tank from scratch)
