Detour!

Now here's one for our American friends.

Towcester. Pronounced like the thing that makes toast and not how it looks on paper.

Why the blip?

I've just had the most miserable journey down to Hemel Hempstead ever. A journey which normally takes 2.5 hrs took over 3.5.

Due to weather - rain and high winds all the way, detours off the motorway through Towcester and Milton Keynes due to accidents - hence the blip.............

And idiots on the road! The only smile brought about by the van driver - who almost rammed me in the rear end in his effort to get past me in the outside lane - and who decided to stay on the motorway and not take the diversion, ended up behind me in a queue of traffic once I had rejoined to motorway further south.

I smiled sweetly to him! Not.

Last question. How many roundabouts are there in Milton Keynes?
