Saltire of destruction...

Some new trees have come down just up by the reservoir above Dunoon, just a few small ones in the winds of the past couple of days. As I passed them, taking a few shots, the pattern of the fallen trunks caught my eye. It all looks somewhat apocalyptic, with echoes of Great War destruction.
