Old fashioned family fun

Although I felt pants (just for a change) I refused to cancel this evenings family night.

Husband and I went to the supermarket to get party food. The cupboards were bare. Plan b buy a job lot of pizzas.

I went to bed for four hours this afternoon hoping the antibiotics will have worked a miracle when I woke up.

They didn't but the rest did help. I had just about got dressed as everyone started to arrive.

We had a lovely fun evening. Lots of chatting and a fab game if humm bug followed by my old classic... Headbandz

I thought the evening went really well, i think maybe particularly due to husbands punch... give it five minutes... guaranteed ice breaker. the night went a lot faster than I thought. Hopefully no one noticed I would have been more than happy to curl up in a ball and wake up next year.
