surfy dudes

beefy took louis surfing for the first time today - on 5th jan, what a hardy pair! it was baltic at the beach but there were a few surfers in as usual. they had a good time and are planning their next trip, with a thicker wetsuit for louis who doesn't have the same robust internal insulation system as his uncle (yet). I wish I had a photo of them in the sea, but we joined them just as they had finished and their teeth were starting to chatter. I took the girls roller skating along the prom in the wind then we sped back to the warmth of shieldon to first foot jetsetting gran and granda who are just back from denmark.

I'm in denial about tomorrow...
