Walking to Milborne Wick

This is the third attempt at uplaoding copy with photo - grr! Managed to coax Stanley - reluctant teenager out for a walk. Gret to see Father and son joshing and chatting! Not an inspiring number of photos to choose from today but liked this as it showed the family and how road and stream were barely discernible.
am awed by the standard of photos on this site and have no pretensions to rival them - just loving the challenge and interest of recording a daily shot as well as savouring other people's offerings . Beats Facebook anyday!

Home to a log fire on the woodburner - we've only just had it put into our modern house with no chimney so have waited a long time to enjoy the cosy warmth which it gives out. It's been one of the joys of the holiday - a case of 'we will have a fire' however mild it is!! Fingers crossed this uploads now.
