Fresh air

Dr D expressed a desire to go up Arthur's Seat. Naive tourist stuff, I thought. Especially 1st weekend in January.

Then I realised I'd never done it. Checked the weather forecast last night, and off we went this morning.

Up and down by 1pm. Really enjoyed it. 2 hours all in.

Then an impromptu visit to the Loch Fyne restaurant at Newhaven. Oysters & mussels for lunch. Good start to the year.

Blip is the summit of Arthur's Seat. Great views, even on a dull day. A crow joined the father & son to appreciate the vista.
