Wet woodland

The day started bright and we went walking north of Dunkeld to Rotmell Wood. We have walked here once or twice before but don't know the network of paths, some of which don't seem to correspond to the map. As it was a short walk, we could follow our noses and not worry about getting lost.

The rain set in after lunch and when we got to Dowally Loch we decided we'd gone far enough and turned back towards the car park. This picture was taken in steady rain, and is a fair summary of the scenery here.
