Nail polish organisation

I reorganised my nail polish collection; it used to be sorted by brand but is now sorted by colour. I think I prefer it this way, though it was very tricky to do - had to bring in some cataloguing decisions about where things go (especially tricky with duochrome polishes!), whilst also considering the practicalities such as shelf space and frequency of use (those at the back are more difficult to reach so I wanted those I use more frequently at the front).

As you can see, I have quite a few purple polishes! Purple, pink, dark red, and neutrals are my favourite colours to wear. I have 110 polishes currently on display, most of which I bought in 2013 (mainly using vouchers otherwise my bank balance would have taken quite a hit!). I'm happy with my current collection so don't think it will grow as much this year, though I'm sure there will be some new polishes I will be tempted by.
