It's Not Just Cricket!!

This image is not the best quality Blip but it's one of my most important. Today was the "Pink Test" at the Sydney Cricket Ground and as it happened was the final day of the 5th cricket test. Today was Jane McGrath day in aid of the McGrath Foundation. A wonderful initiative started by Jane and Glen McGrath when Jane was diagnosed with breast cancer. Sadly Jane passed away but the work of the Foundation continues. They have now raised enough money to fund 100 Breast Care Nurses throughout Australia. 87 of the nurses work in regional Australia to support women travelling the Breast Cancer journey.

So it wasn't all about the cricket today, but we are very proud of the Aussie team. They have played magnificently to win back the Ashes from England.

The one thing I know is that it pays to be humble in sport - tomorrow is another day!
