Tomorrow is Matthew's birthday. The family is going out to dinner without me because I have been sick on the couch all day, unable to move. I'm not feeling at all sorry for myself...

I offer today a picture of the fire in the grate with an interesting fire screen, which is all I can manage tonight, partly because I haven't been out of the house today and partly because I can't publish the picture of my lovely family going off to dinner because my computer has packed in.

Tomorrow is bound to be a better day, right?
