Raindrops

Erica's in the process of moving into her new home, and I was allowed to have a peek at it today on our way to dinner with her, her fiancé and his father. It's very nice, and will be wonderfully homey once they get some furniture and a few books around the place. It's surrounded by a garden border, with herbs, veggies and pretty plants growing happily.

We had Christmas present opening this evening, with presents from friends overseas to open, and a couple to give each other. A few of us have the tradition of giving Christmas decorations each year, and this year's were beautiful, although Bridget hasn't received all of hers yet so I can't say what they were ;) Erica, Stephen and I watched Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries and ate Christmas biscuits, but only after their new Thermomix had been delivered and instructions as to its use given. It's a pretty funky device, and does all kinds of things. I was trying to think of what kitchen appliances you would replace with it though, and kept on finding the ones it couldn't replace... Oops. Still, it looks very handy and eliminates many things.
