Happy, happy!

Both of our kids decided to make two Lego houses yesterday. Our son is a Lego master who always enjoyed building all kinds of space ships et al. Our daughter, however, has never built a model by herself so she set a goal to finish the blue roof house.

She was very happy to have finished one while our son worked on the red roof house for his Language Arts movie project. They are so different in personalities, yet they carry a little bit of me and my husband. Amazing!

Each kid told us (separately, like a secret) that they want to grow up and buy us a beautiful house with a wrap around porch where they can come with their kids. And I will have a big kitchen there where we will be cooking and baking oh so much :-)

Dreaming together, guiding them, and building our trust. Parenting, for sure, is one of the hardest things in life. I'm so blessed to have this time to enjoy them and watch them grow.
