Ever Decreasing Christmas

As the family who were up for Christmas pack up and go home, the decs are slowly diminishing and so is my Christmas Cake. It was my first (not last) attempt and it was fab! I shouldn't boast but it was bloody lovely, and if I'm honest most of it ended up in my tum. Of course, Nigella's recipe has to take some of the glory. Note for next year, stick with slightly less booze and cut back even further on the Almond extract - also buy a bigger bowl and tin!
Still not had the heart to take tree down...tomorrow then?
