Caledonian Pine
We went for a walk at Glenmore today. I love the wonderful old Caledonian Pines - they really are such magnificent trees. This one is situated on the bank of 'Lochan Uaine' - the Green Lochan. The reason for the bright turquoise-green colour of the water? Apparently the local faeries (which are evil, mischievous nuisances) wash their clothes in there!
