Have you ever attended a funeral for a total stranger? We did so this morning, in the capacity of a small part of Octave, to sing an anthem.

And what a privilege that was, because it turns out the deceased had been a chorister and generally was a very nice lady.

On the way home we stopped by Dunsapie Loch and watched the birds being fed, the duck grabbing first while geese stood on their dignity and waited their turn.
