Hay Making in the Evening Sun

A day trip to Timaru (returning the Harley to its rightful owner) meant I got to experience the beautiful vistas of Mid-Canterbury. Instead of the drudgery of State Highway One, I elected for the backroad via Geraldine, down the relatively empty roads of Thompson's Track.

On the return journey in the car, I managed to capture this golden light scene of haymaking with the stunning foothills of the Southern Alps as a backdrop.
